Featherbedding in Europe

Our unions can learn a lot from the Spanish.
A storm has followed the discovery that some (air traffic) controllers are earning more than £800,000 a year.

Of 2,300 controllers, ten were paid between €810,000 (£725,000) and €900,000 last year. A further 226 were paid between €450,000 and €540,000 and 701 were paid between €270,000 and €360,000.
Our people need to think BIG.

The best part is that on average they work 23 "regular" hours a week with another 7 hours of overtime a week.

If the Spaniards think they're expensive now, wait until they have to pay for the pensions!
